Do I need my own AI account?

Yes. The AI runs on your own Anthropic API key, which an admin adds in Settings. The key is checked when you save it, stored encrypted, and only its last four characters are ever shown. Anthropic bills your account directly for what you use. Without a key, the AI buttons are off, and everything else works as normal.
